What is Individual Therapy?

  • The most requested services for individual therapy are for Anxiety and Depression.

  • Often referred to as the “common colds” for mental health, many individuals may feel shame, or embarrassment when exploring their mental health with friends, family and even health care providers.

  • We work with children, adolescents, adults, and people who just never want to grow up.

  • Individual Therapy is personalized and as unique as each client that comes through the door.

  • There is no “one size fits all” approach, but rather finding the approach that fits right for the individual.

What is the Right Treatment Approach?

  • ​For example, many people have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to achieve many successes in their lives. Yet many others have found CBT to be inadequate to meet their desired goals and outcomes. Many other approaches are offered to ensure you find the treatment path that works for you. Some options include:

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Cognitive Therapy

    • Behavioral Therapy

    • Humanistic or Client Centered Therapy.
